Our interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology with particular focuses on structure-based drug design, bacterial signaling and regulation, chemical cross-linking development, and polymorphism in pharmaceutical co-crystals.
Dr. Rambabu Dandela is currently working as Assistant Professor, Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Department, at the Institute of Chemical Technology, IndianOil Odisha Campus Bhubaneswar. He obtained his Masters from Kakatiya University in 2004 and Ph.D. from Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad campus in 2013. His research interests include Organic Synthesis, Chemical Biology, Chemical Proteomics, Polymorphism and Process Research Development. He has published 213 research articles; 6 patents granted, filed 3 patents and currently, five Ph.D. students and one Postdoc are working at different stages in his group.
His publications are widely cited in high impact factor journals like Nature, Chemical Reviews, Angew Chem, JACS etc. He is an elected associate fellow of the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Academy of Sciences. He is a recipient of few awards, including the Ramanujan fellowship by DST, Govt. of India (2017-22) and PBC program outstanding post-doctoral researcher fellowship by the Government of Israel at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (2013-2016). He is a regular reviewer of several leading and high impact factor journals and national/international funding agencies.
